We suggest some strategies to guarantee polarized political parties engagement on participative processes.

When seeking for more participative processes in highly polarized environments the question is   “What are the incentives that we could use to attract polarized political parties’ participation and engagement?".

We suggest to use incentives towards the public we want to attract. For example, use effective mass media strategies in order to give political parties visibility. Also, we suggest that the topic should be “demand driven”, answer to the current contexts issues. Looking at the popularity of the subject in the current context, as looking for a window of opportunity could help as well.

On the other hand, we suggest that topics to be debated on should be “neutralized” in a way that any political party feel comfortable to participate. Declaring independence from any political association as well as focusing on the objective of the debate instead of the participants of it; could help making the debate non-political.
