Manage notifications


Where can I find the notifications settings?
To edit your notifications settings, click on the user symbol in the top right corner. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on “Settings” to open your personal account settings.

         

 

 

What types of notifications are there?
On Policy Kitchen there are two different types of notifications:

  • Email notifications: will only be sent when you are not active on the platform
  • Push notifications: pop up in the corner of your computer screen, even if the website is closed

Email notifications
There are four types of email notifications: “Message to me” (actions on the platform with a direct relation to you); “What I manage” (actions on the platform in relation to ideas, groups, events, etc. that you manage); “What I follow” (actions on the platform in relation to people, ideas, or challenges that you follow); and “System processes” (background actions on the platform).

For each of these email notifications, you can choose to turn it off, receive it immediately, or in a daily or weekly digest. Email notifications will only be sent when you are not active on the platform.

 

Push notifications
You can allow push notifications which will appear in the corner of your computer screen, even if the website is closed.

 

Don’t forget to save your changes!
To save the changes in your notifications settings, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on  “save”. You can always come back and adapt your notification settings.
