There should be access to unpolluted and anonymised data if that data serves the public good, for example betterment of health, crises response and humanitarian operations or food security. Switzerland should align with other countries, IOs and actors from the private sector to create a "global pool" of data that can be accessed by anyone with an interest in developing/employing AI for the public good. General access in our opinion does not necessarily or automatically diminish private corporations' profits as the data analysis that allows them to draw conclusions from the data generally available still needs to be performed/is a separate process.
