  • Dear all,

thank you for all the comments and discussions on the different visions.
For your information, we just added the slides from all the expert presentations. You can find them in the speaker overview in the about section.

  • Hi everyone,

The ZHAW (Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften) is organizing a "Digital Health Lab Day" on the 1st October. It could be very interesting for our group here.

  • It was an interesting workshop especially exchanging views with younger people. Some take homes for me: (1) time to be frank and frame personalized health & digitization as a niche strategy in health care rather than a very broad strategy (for now), (2) Lets make this a Swiss people voting initiative - do we want personalized health care with digitization or not? Benefits of a direct democracy (3) Digitization does not remove that fact that you still have to remain human especially for the end of life. Ps. I reserve the right to amend my take homes as new real world data and evidence is presented and shared that the lay public can understand (not enough if all you have to do is explain the evidence).

  • The Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy is organizing an interesting event on a "Feminist Foreign Policy for the EU" tomorrow, which definitely seems worth sharing! Two co-founders of the CFFP (among them this challenge's advisory board member Nina Bernarding) will be discussing with MEPs. Sign-ups are open here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_ofEOqHC9TamcLOFkrlHbTA?fbcl…

  • Dear challenge participants,

We are simply overwhelmed by the diversity of the over 70 ideas that were submitted on Policy Kitchen in the last weeks! The Feminist Foreign Policy challenge team analyzed all submission and defined emerging chapter themes for the forthcoming publication to be published by the end of the year and presented to a wide array of decision-makers. The five chapters will be organized according to these topics: Intersectionality, Representation and Methodology; Peace and Security; Environment and Climate Change; Physical Health, Security, and Autonomy and Trade, Economy and Informal Work

We now need your support to elaborate on the existing ideas and refine these policy solutions to create a comprehensive publication. Your voices and ideas are crucial for this process and we need your experiences and knowledge for the refinement of the ideas and publication chapters! Therefore, we are organizing the “Feminist Foreign Policy Workshop 2.0 - bring your ideas to the next level” on 18 June 2020, 7-9 PM CET.

In this workshop, we will introduce you to the status quo and further process of the publication and then split into thematic groups according to the chapters of the publication, refine existing ideas and fill in gaps. This experience enables you to become an integral part of the publication process. If you have already submitted an idea, then this is your chance to elaborate on it in dedicated teams. We invite those who have not submitted an idea before to join a thematic group. We are looking forward to fruitful discussions and refined ideas!

If you have any further questions on the process or this workshop, please message info@policykitchen.com or send me a message!
