A global workshop hosted by Switzerland to share experiences around national AI strategies and pave the way for international collaboration.

WHY THIS WORKSHOP

In the past two years, more than 20 countries have created national AI strategies to take advantage and mitigate the risks related this technology. Yet, as AI is a global issue, there is a need for more exchange and collaboration between the countries that have and those that don't have strategies. This process should include not only governments, but also the private sector, academia, and civil society. Switzerland, and in particular Geneva as a global governance hub, is uniquely positioned to host such an initiative.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE

1. To identify areas where cooperation is needed.

2. To develop strategies for global cooperation

HOW WE ACT TO ENSURE SUCCESS

Switzerland hosts a series of workshops that culminates in the AI4GGS, with swissnex and Policy Kitchen facilitating and bringing together different players.
