Close cooperation and collaboration are key in advancing comprehensive FFP policies around the world. A wide range of local and international actors need to be involved in a participatory process.

In order to advance FFP policies, we need a deeper collaboration between local, national, regional and international partners: among them, there are the UN, the EU, regional organizations (e.g. ASEAN, African Union), international NGOs, national NGOs, grassroots organizations, and national institutions. This collaboration can be achieved through the structure(s) of regular consultations and working groups, in a model similar to the cluster approach present in many developing countries.
