Inclusion of women in use of social media to increase their contact with the enemy women can reduce social prejudice, conflict and violence. This can be done by foreign policy makers.

Social media is an effective tool that can give a voice to women to become stakeholders of peace between groups, communities and countries who are involved in violent conflict. Women’s rights and peace activists can use social media actively to show their concerns for the safety of future generations faced with an increasing threat of war and violence in their societies and regions. They can create speeches, slogans and new narratives of peace demanding that the governments should follow dialogue for resolving conflict instead of going into war and violence. They can exchange online messages of peace and love with each other and plead for support to save future kids from war and destruction. For example, they might design slogans like “women for peace” and “yes to books not to bombs". They can call for women’s marches for changes in the ‘environment of hate’. The inclusion of women in peacebuilding can be reinforced by transgender persons as they feel comfortable more with women than men at public spaces.
